Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 10, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using Express Share, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the service.

2. What Express Share Provides

Express Share is a web-based service that helps users share text, links, and files between devices. Transfers are designed to happen directly between devices when possible, but the service may also use coordination infrastructure and temporary in-memory fallback delivery to make sharing work.

Express Share is not marketed as permanent cloud storage, backup, archival storage, or guaranteed file hosting.

3. Accounts, Access, and Eligibility

Express Share does not currently require user accounts. You are responsible for using a compatible browser, maintaining the security of your device and network, and ensuring you have the legal authority to use the service.

4. Your Content and Responsibilities

You retain responsibility for the text, links, files, and other content you choose to share through Express Share.

By using the service, you grant us a limited right to process, transmit, temporarily cache, and display your content solely as needed to operate the service.

You agree not to use Express Share to:

  • share illegal, infringing, fraudulent, or malicious content
  • distribute malware, harmful code, or material intended to disrupt devices or networks
  • share content you do not have the right to send or make available
  • interfere with the security, stability, or availability of the service
  • use the service in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others

5. Temporary Availability and Expiration

Express Share is designed around temporary sharing. Shared items may be listed, transmitted, or held in temporary memory only for a limited period so the service can operate.

Shared items are intended to expire automatically after a short window, typically around 30 minutes, and they may be removed sooner. We do not guarantee that a shared item will remain available for any specific amount of time.

6. Advertising and Third-Party Services

Express Share may display advertisements, including ads served by Google AdSense. We may also rely on third-party hosting, networking, proxy, and delivery providers to operate the service.

Your use of advertising and third-party services may also be subject to those providers' terms, policies, and technical requirements.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is processed in connection with Express Share, including temporary server-side processing, network coordination, third-party infrastructure, and advertising-related data practices.

Read the Privacy Policy

8. Service Changes and Availability

We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of Express Share at any time, with or without notice. We are not obligated to maintain any feature, transfer history, or specific level of availability.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Express Share is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and uninterrupted operation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Express Share and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, content, profits, goodwill, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of the service.

If the law does not allow certain limitations, those limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. By continuing to use Express Share after changes become effective, you agree to the revised terms.

Plain-language note:

These terms are written to describe the real service behavior without exposing internal implementation details such as endpoint names, signaling formats, or low-level transport internals. They still disclose the material points users should know: temporary availability, service limits, third-party infrastructure, and advertising.
